Luko Wines creates and produces a very limited production of luxury handmade wines from the greatest vineyards in California. The small lot production enables us to be personally involved in each barrel, at each step of making a premium wine. These wines reflect our personal passion and interest in the particular wines we offer. Located in San Francisco, our winery uses traditional winemaking methods like French oak barrels and hand pressing the grapes. 2005 Saralee's White Rhone Blend - Excellent fruit
purity. The floral and peach nose is balanced by a
solid mineral frame at first and last sip. A perfect
summer wine, but the strong fruit up front would also
blend perfectly with a roasted chicken, glazed with
rosemary honey and mustard. - 91
2005 White Hawk Syrah - Beautiful fruit. The oak does
what it's supposed to and gives this wine a perfect
frame to show it's stuff. Nose of cherries,
blackberries, and vanilla. Big fruit palate, but the
solid tannins keep it from becoming too heavy. Gives
some coffee on the finish. As this wine gets more
bottle age it will only get better. - 90
